The data refer to public education in municipalities with a non-anomalous labour cost, different from zero and not hidden for privacy.

The first part shows the average labour cost per inhabitant divided by regions.

The regions with the highest labour cost per employee (average values) are Lazio with € 38,076 and Lombardy with € 35,623 while the lowest values are recorded in Basilicata with € 29,025 and in Marche with € 31,583.

Basilicata is the region with the highest number of employees per 1,000 inhabitants (for 3-14-year-old children) about 9 units, Puglia with the lowest number around 3 units.
